What a lovely day for an outdoor wedding!
Heather and Luis wanted a casual, fun, vintage ceremony at the Cherry Barc Farm in Vermontville and they got gorgeous weather with a cool breeze and plenty of sun.
Fabulous!
Their ceremony was all about them and was so much fun.
They wanted to incorporate science into the ceremony so they did a blending ceremony with chemicals from glow sticks that generated light when combined. I think the effect was a little muted in the sunlight, but it was still pretty obvious and my words about bringing light and warmth to their lives helped it come together beautifully. (Next time, I’m going to suggest not unscrewing the lids from the containers until the ceremony begins as a mighty breeze overturned one of the containers while we were waiting for the bride and groom to arrive).
I’d never performed a ceremony at Cherry Barc Farm before. The venue was rustic and cozy and just perfect for a fun, casual couple like Luis and Heather.
I wish these two all of the best and hope they enjoy their first dance under the twinkling lights in the big red barn!
May all of your best and brightest dreams always come true!
